Overview
Lead an experienced oncology district sales team comprising 9 seasoned Sales Representatives across part of Northern Taiwan.
Serve as the critical link between Oncology BU strategy and customer-facing field execution, translating business priorities into focused district action.
Coach, develop, and retain high-performing talent while building a strong succession pipeline for future sales leadership roles.
Drive customer engagement excellence, district performance, and execution discipline in one of the most competitive oncology markets.
Partner closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure aligned execution and customer experience.
Report directly to the Sales Lead overseeing all sales for Taiwan Oncology BU.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead and develop a high-performing sales team
Coach, mentor, and develop 9 experienced Oncology Sales Representatives, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, customer centricity, and strong ownership.
Strengthen people development and talent retention
Create meaningful individual development plans, identify engagement risks early, support career growth, and retain top talent in a competitive market.
Build future leadership pipeline
Actively identify high-potential representatives, provide stretch opportunities, strengthen leadership readiness, and build successors for future District Manager or broader commercial roles.
Drive field execution excellence
Translate brand strategies and business priorities into clear district action plans, customer engagement priorities, coaching focus areas, and measurable execution outcomes.
Elevate coaching quality and field effectiveness
Conduct regular field coaching to improve selling skills, account planning, customer engagement, business acumen, competitor handling, and compliant execution.
Deliver district business performance
Own district performance by monitoring KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities, prioritizing accounts, and mobilizing the team to deliver sustainable growth.
Bring field and customer insights into business decisions
Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, competitor activities, access dynamics, and district-level opportunities; share meaningful insights with the Sales Lead and cross-functional teams.
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration
Partner effectively with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other stakeholders to deliver aligned customer engagement and business impact.
Champion compliance and integrity
Ensure all sales activities uphold the highest standards of ethics, compliance, governance, promotional practice, and company policy.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years of pharmaceutical commercial experience, preferably in oncology or specialty care.
Sales performance: Proven track record as a high-performing pharmaceutical sales professional with strong customer engagement capabilities.
People leadership: Prior people management, coaching, mentoring, or project leadership experience preferred; strong passion for developing others is essential.
Commercial acumen: Strong understanding of customer, market, and competitive dynamics, with the ability to translate strategy into effective field execution.
Coaching and performance management: Ability to provide impactful feedback, set clear expectations, and balance support with accountability.
Analytical skills: Comfortable using sales data, KPIs, leading indicators, and customer insights to diagnose issues and guide action.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English, with the ability to engage frontline employees, customers, and senior stakeholders.
Regulatory and compliance awareness: Strong understanding of local pharmaceutical regulations, promotional governance, and industry codes of practice.
