The Risk Specialist, Risk Management is an entry-level role supporting risk oversight for Razer Gold entities and contributing to building up a risk management culture and awareness within the company. The role will report to the Risk Manager, giving you the opportunity to develop innate and intuitive knowledge of Razer’s goals and culture, while building a strong foundation in risk management within the Electronic Money industry.

Responsibilities:

A. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) & Risk Register Maintenance

• Follow up with risk owners on risk updates
• Track treatment plans and due dates
• Maintain risk register documentation
• Prepare draft risk summaries
• Assist in Key Risk Indicator (KRI) data collection

B. Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) & Outsourcing

• Maintain the outsourcing/vendor register
• Follow up with business owners on due diligence documents
• Compile vendor assessment forms
• Track annual review status
• Assist in checking completeness of BCM, data protection, information security and outsourcing documentation
• Support vendor risk classification (e.g. material, non-material, critical, high-risk or low-risk vendors)

C. Audit and Regulatory Requests

• Maintain audit request trackers
• Compile evidence from departments
• Track audit issues and management action plans
• Prepare status updates
• Maintain proper folder structure and documentation repository

D. Incident Management

• Maintain incident logs
• Track incident status and closure
• Follow up on root cause analysis and corrective action plans
• Prepare monthly incident trend summaries
• Assist in checking whether incidents require escalation
• Support documentation for Risk Management Committee (RMC) reporting

E. Business Continuity Management (BCM)

• Assist in Business Impact Analysis (BIA) data collection
• Track recovery strategy updates
• Maintain BCM testing records
• Follow up on pending action items after BCM exercises
• Support business continuity awareness activities
• Maintain department-level BCM documentation

F. Documentation, SOP and Filing Discipline

• Maintain SOP trackers
• Update templates and working papers
• Organise risk documentation and ensure a proper audit trail
• Prepare minutes, action trackers and follow-up logs
• Support version control of policies and frameworks
• Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Pre-Requisites :

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Actuarial Science / Risk Management / Accounting / Finance / Economics / Business Administration or related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 0 to 2 years of working experience; internship or exposure in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit or the Banking and Finance industry is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of TPRM, outsourcing and audit coordination concepts is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of ERM, ORM, RCSA, KRI and BCM concepts; meticulous, detail-oriented and comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and documentation.
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with developing analytical and report writing skills.
• Able to multi-task and deliver on tight deadlines.
