Description: This position serves to assist the Design Center team in daily operations, sales, and fulfillment and delivery of orders. The Account Coordinator for the Design Center works in the warehouse and in the design sales floor environment to ensure lighting and hardware orders are fulfilled efficiently and accurately, products are stocked and organized, and inventory is counted precisely and correctly.
As such, the main duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Pulling and packaging lighting and hardware orders, coordinating delivery with the delivery drivers or making deliveries when needed
- Keying locks for orders/in store customers, with occasional travel to job sites to correct broken or mis-keyed locks
- Receiving inventory, keeping shelves stocked and organized
- Performing lighting and hardware stock counts to maintain accuracy in inventory
- Assist the sales team with customer service by providing basic product information, taking orders, and answering phone inquiries, etc.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic, good communication skills, highly organized, ability to effectively multitask and sensibly prioritize within time constraints and evolving needs
- Excellent customer service
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, to climb ladders, and to do some heavy lifting
- Basic computer competency
- While familiarity with building materials, prior warehouse experience, and/or sales background is preferable, this is a highly trainable position for hard-working and organized people.
