Account Manager, Real Estate

Temporary position for 12 months.

As a Real Estate Account Manager, you help prospect for, solicit and build lasting business relationships with members and clients. You help sell products and services and provide services that meet clients’ needs in accordance with current strategies and practices. This includes services related to renovations of commercial buildings. You develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients, businesses, associations and groups to make sure they’re getting the most out of their products and services and are fully satisfied with them. You drive results by actively helping your unit meet its sales and business development objectives. You’re responsible for accounts with average development potential for your sector. You work with clients who have specific needs, so the ability to communicate effectively and thoroughly understand the needs they express is essential. You advise and assist members and clients. You represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with clients. You have opportunities to establish and negotiate terms and conditions for products and services in accordance with current standards and procedures. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to :

• Solicit, develop and maintain personalized business relationships with clients to promote products and services.
• Identify and analyze the needs of members and clients ahead of and during commercial renovations and new builds involving one or two different trades.
• Develop personalized solutions and prepare integrated service offers by selecting the best entrepreneur in terms of balancing member/client satisfaction, profitability and risk. Negotiate terms and conditions.
• Carry out advisory support activities and support clients through all project phases.
• Build, maintain and develop your network of clients.

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
• Knowledge of French is required
