Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol - Seawall Blvd in Galveston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, and report observations through established procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity while supporting a welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
