Job Description
What is the opportunity?
We are seeking an operational backbone for our Talent & Development (T&D) Programs and Performance Development Team. This role will manage all aspects of program and event coordination, while also supporting the maintenance of training content and intranet resources. In this role you will serve as the lynchpin that ensures our teams remain focused on their core mission: developing talent. You will handle logistics, planning, and coordination to ensure our programs run seamlessly, enabling the team to deliver high-impact development initiatives.
What will you do?
- Manage Training Program Logistics & Operations: Own the end-to-end delivery of all program materials printing, shipping, and distribution for in-person and virtual programs across RBC Dominion Securities, PH&N, for the team. Handle invoices, branch chargebacks, and regulatory reporting to keep programs compliant and financially accurate.
- Maintain & Enhance Training Content: Keep our WMC Training & Development intranet on RBC Connect current and organized, conduct regular content audits, and create engaging training materials including PowerPoint presentations, video edits, and updated event calendars.
- Coordinate Training Programs: Oversee RBC Dominion Securities and PH&N training delivery, manage all program documentation, templates, surveys, participant communications, and continuing education requirements.
- Drive National Training Initiatives: Schedule and produce company-wide national calls (WMC Added Value, Getting Started), manage Webex coordination, and collaborate on promotion and engagement.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Event & Project Coordination Excellence: Proven ability to plan and execute complex events and projects with meticulous attention to detail.
- Organizational & Administrative Mastery: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain systems (intranet content, calendars, documentation), and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Content & Creative Support: Comfortable working with presentation design, video editing, and content creation tools.
- Financial & Process Management: Experience with invoices, chargebacks, expense tracking, and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across departments, manage stakeholder expectations, and serve as a reliable point of contact for multiple business functions.
Nice-to-have:
- Training or Learning & Development Background: Familiarity with WMC Training & Development Department.
- Webex & Virtual Event Hosting: Experience managing webinars, virtual meetings, or online conference coordination is a bonus.
- Knowledge of RBC WMC Systems: Familiarity with RBC Connect, internal platforms, or RBC business structures accelerates productivity.
- Wealth Management Industry Experience: Understanding of RBC Dominion Securities, PH&N, or wealth management operations provides helpful industry insight.
