Position Summary

Legacy Risk Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Download Specialist to manage the electronic data exchange processes between our insurance carriers and our agency management system. This role is critical to maintaining accurate, timely, and efficient data flow, supporting account managers, producers, and operational teams across our agency footprint.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and manage carrier downloads into the agency management system (e.g., Applied Epic, or other platforms used by Legacy Risk Solutions).
• Ensure timely processing, validation, and reconciliation of incoming data (e.g., policy transactions, endorsements, cancellations, renewals).
• Work closely with IT and carrier partners to troubleshoot download errors or discrepancies and resolve data mapping issues.
• Collaborate with account managers and other agency staff to confirm data integrity and completeness of records.
• Assist with new carrier setups and test download functionality to ensure smooth integration.
• Document procedures and maintain logs of download activity, issues, and resolutions.
• Train staff on download processes and best practices when needed.
• Provide support for data audits, clean-up initiatives, or system migrations.
• Stay current on industry standards (e.g., IVANS) and trends affecting insurance downloads.

Requirements

Preferred

• Prior experience in a retail insurance agency or insurance technology environment.
• Familiarity with the insurance policy lifecycle and standard carrier transaction types.
• Proficiency with agency management systems (Applied Epic) and download platforms (e.g., IVANS).
