Salary range (but not limited to):
87,200 - 106,600Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
The Corporate Cards team is a dynamic and multidisciplinary team that supports the organization in managing corporate credit cards, cash expenses, and business travel. The team plays a key role in ensuring expense report compliance through the application of internal controls and support for audits, as well as in producing management reports (KPIs). It also contributes to the organization’s sustainability objectives.
In this role, you will help ensure compliance with the Expense and Travel Policy and support decision-making through analyses, indicators, and reports (KPIs) that track expense trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure high-quality information. You will also help prepare data used for greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations.
The role includes a strong focus on continuous improvement, automation, and the use of AI, with a potential path toward a management role in the medium term.
Key Responsibilities
1. Internal Controls, Audit, and Expense Report Compliance
- Ensure that expense reports are submitted in accordance with the Expense and Travel Policy through reviews, controls, follow-ups, and escalations.
- Apply internal controls related to expenses and document exceptions.
- Propose and implement control improvements to reduce exceptions and increase compliance.
2. Analysis, Reporting (KPIs), and Journal Entries
- Perform analyses of expenses and expense reports, including trends, variances, and indicators by expense type, department, resource, and other relevant categories.
- Produce and enhance management reports and dashboards (KPIs) related to expenses and business travel.
- Automate and standardize reporting to improve data quality and reduce manual tasks.
- Prepare and post journal entries in the ERP in accordance with the closing calendar.
- Identify and quantify travel cost-reduction opportunities and formulate recommendations.
3. Sustainability — GHG Data Related to Travel
- Collect, structure, and validate a portion of the data required for GHG calculations related to business travel.
- Support the continuous improvement of data quality through validation rules, consistency checks, and traceability.
- Contribute to the evolution of practices to better support the organization’s climate objectives.
4. AI — Enhancing the User Experience and Controls
- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of AI solutions applied to expense reports to simplify the user experience and increase compliance.
- Contribute to identifying practical use cases, such as anomaly detection, recommendations, intelligent controls, and assistance with expense report submissions.
- Help establish rules and controls that enable the safe and effective use of AI, including data quality, traceability, and confidentiality.
5. Continuous Improvement and Project Management
- Participate in the continuous improvement of operational, financial, and internal control processes.
- Take ownership of or co-lead optimization projects, including planning, progress tracking, deliverable coordination, and documentation.
- Contribute to standardizing the team’s methods, templates, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in accounting, internal controls, audit, financial operations, or a related field.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Power BI / Power Query experience is a significant asset.
- Knowledge of an ERP system; Oracle experience is an asset.
- Experience with an expense management tool is an asset.
- Project management experience required.
- Demonstrated professional judgment and rigor, particularly when handling exceptions and conducting reviews or audits. Ability to analyze situations, document findings appropriately, and apply a consistent approach.
- Autonomous, service-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken, with regular interactions with colleagues across the country.
