Key Responsibilities
CAD Drafting and Design Support
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, sections, profiles, and construction details using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent).
- Develop and update water, wastewater, stormwater, and utility infrastructure drawings.
- Assist engineers and designers in producing design documentation for various project stages.
- Generate layouts, pipelines, utility alignments, site plans, and schematic drawings.
Drawing Management
- Ensure all drawings comply with company CAD standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
- Revise drawings based on engineer comments, design changes, and client feedback.
- Organize and archive project files according to company standards.
Quality Assurance
- Perform self-checks to ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Verify dimensions, annotations, layers, symbols, and reference information.
- Support quality reviews and implement corrective actions as required.
Coordination and Collaboration
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, project managers, and other disciplines to resolve drafting issues.
- Participate in project meetings when required to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Support multidisciplinary design coordination activities.
Technical Support
- Assist in the preparation of tender, construction, and as-built documentation.
- Utilize survey data, GIS information, and design calculations to develop project drawings.
- Support the development and improvement of CAD templates, libraries, and drafting procedures.
Generally, we prefer a candidate with all-around experience in CAD works for all water and wastewater related drawings. Civil/Structural, Water Infrastructure, Electro-Mechanical, Automation, Instrumentation and Control, etc.
Could produce both 2D and 3D drawings.
