Sandoz continues to go through an exciting and transformative period as a global leader and pioneering provider of sustainable Biosimilar and Generic medicines. As we continue down this new and ambitious path, unique opportunities will present themselves, both professionally and personally. Join us, the future is ours to shape!

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Monitor transformation programme performance, including costs, savings, value delivery, milestones, and forecast accuracy; escalate material deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide regular financial performance reporting, variance analysis, and forward-looking insights on costs, headcount, investments, benefits, risks, and opportunities.

  • Lead the annual target-setting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the broader Transformation and Growth function.
  • Translate strategic priorities, ESG commitments, and operating plans into clear financial assumptions, resource requirements, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop, review, and challenge business cases, including scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, NPV, ROIC, payback, and other relevant value measures.
  • Support prioritisation and resource-allocation decisions by assessing strategic fit, affordability, execution risk, financial impact, and expected business or stakeholder value.
  • Partner with ESG stakeholders to evaluate the financial implications of sustainability commitments, regulatory requirements, ESG data and reporting needs, and value-creation initiatives.
  • Support the development and tracking of ESG KPIs and connect non-financial performance indicators to financial outcomes, risks, investment needs, and long-term value.
  • Partner with Strategy to support strategic planning, market and competitor analysis, scenario development, portfolio choices, and financial assessments for senior leadership discussions.
  • Prepare clear, concise financial materials, insights, and recommendations for senior leadership and relevant governance forums.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews of transformation, ESG, and strategic initiatives to compare actual outcomes with approved plans and capture lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with financial governance, internal controls, Management Authorization Limits, and applicable approval requirements.
  • Coordinate with FP&A, Accounting, ESG Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and other relevant teams to ensure consistent assumptions, reliable data, and effective execution.
  • Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement of planning, reporting, and performance-management processes.
  • Perform the required Business Planning and Analysis activities for the Transformation and Growth function and provide ad hoc financial analysis and support.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience supporting transformation, ESG, sustainability, corporate strategy, or strategic planning activities is preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex strategic and non-financial topics into clear financial implications and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, financial planning and reporting tools, and project-tracking tools.
