As our Accountant, you'll play a key role in keeping FloWater's financial operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly. You'll take ownership of key accounting processes, support month-end close and financial reporting, and partner closely with the Finance team and cross-functional leaders to ensure we have the information and insights needed to make smart business decisions. Responsibilities and Role:
- Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries, accruals, and adjustments with confidence and accuracy
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts in a timely, precise manner
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and variances, drawing on transaction history and data
- Prepare and post entries for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and intercompany transactions
- Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries with professionalism, clarity, and timeliness
- Generate accurate financial reports — including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements — for management review
- Collaborate closely with the AR, AP, and Finance leadership teams to ensure clean, consistent reporting
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to internal and external auditor requests
- Own month-end and year-end close activities for assigned accounts, including reconciliations and variance analysis
Candidate Competencies:
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth or multi-entity environment
- Proficient in NetSuite (required)
- Comfortable owning month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
- A self-starter who takes ownership of their work from start to finish
- Proficient with Mac computers
- Thrives in both independent and collaborative work environments
- Strong attention to detail, working knowledge of GAAP, and ability to manage time effectively
- Committed to confidentiality, accuracy, and accountability
Compensation: This is a full-time position with a competitive annual wage $68,000 - 82,000, comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, F.S.A., 401(k)), partially paid parental leave policy, and Paid Time Off.
