Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-area exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged equipment, spills, restricted-area concerns, and other unusual conditions to appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
