This position will be located on our Nampa Campus – 4400 E Flamingo Avenue, Suite 110, Nampa, ID 

Schedule: Monday – Friday. No weekends or holidays.

What to expect:  

As a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Rehabilitation, you will support secondary prevention and recovery for patients following cardiac and pulmonary events in a fast‑paced, outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to guide patients through a structured 36‑visit rehabilitation program. Patient populations include those recovering from heart attack, heart failure, coronary stent placement, post–heart surgery, and chronic or restrictive pulmonary disease.  

You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, review health histories to determine appropriate starting points, and monitor patient progress over time. On a typical day, the program supports a high volume of patients moving through multiple exercise and monitoring stations, requiring strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.  

This position emphasizes education, prevention, and long‑term lifestyle change rather than traditional inpatient bedside nursing. Responsibilities include interpreting telemetry and EKG data, leading patient education initiatives, developing and managing individualized treatment plans, completing documentation and charging, and supporting patients as they enter and graduate from the program. This role requires solid cardiac experience, comfort working independently in a busy environment, and the ability to manage many moving parts simultaneously. 

Qualifications:  

• Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).  

• Oregon license must be obtained within 6 months of hire. 

• BLS certification required at date of hire; ACLS required within 6 months. 

• Five years of nursing experience preferred 

• Prior inpatient cardiac experience highly preferred
