Job Description:

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking someone to run our Minerals group across the Midland and Delaware Basins. This role will oversee our minerals and royalty portfolio, evaluate acquisition and development activity, monitor operator activity, and identify opportunities to maximize portfolio value.

We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, analytical, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of a diverse portfolio and a high volume of opportunities and decisions.

General Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Company’s minerals and royalty portfolio and related activity.
• Evaluate mineral and royalty acquisition, divestiture, and other investment opportunities.
• Work across Land, Reservoir Engineering, Geoscience, Finance, Legal, and Accounting to evaluate opportunities and make recommendations.
• Maintain visibility into operator development plans, permitting, drilling activity, production, and other activity impacting the portfolio.
• Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities to increase the value of the portfolio.
• Support valuation, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning related to the minerals business.
• Provide clear recommendations and updates to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of upstream oil and gas experience.
• Strong understanding of upstream economics, mineral and royalty interests, and investment decisions.
• Familiarity with mineral ownership, title, leasing, and oil and gas development.
• Strong commercial, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Permian Basin experience preferred.
