Description
Responsibilities
HazTek is seeking a Construction Safety Professional in Wilkes Barre, PA to provide on-site safety support for a campus-wide cabling project. Work includes running cable, adding new ports, and installing cable trays and tray hooks. Occasional core drilling will be performed by a mechanical contractor.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular site walks and monitor contractor activities for compliance with project safety requirements.
Review work plans, identify potential hazards, and communicate safe work practices to crews.
Partner with site leadership and contractors to address safety concerns and follow up on corrective actions.
Participate in safety meetings and maintain required safety documentation.
Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification required.
Five years of construction safety experience; or three years of construction safety experience plus a CHST certification or relevant degree.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently during second-shift hours.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (four 10-hour shifts).
