As a Finance Associate, you will play an essential role in supporting financial operations, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and effective client communication. What you'll be working on:
- Maintain a high standard of client service, especially with key accounts and clients managing multiple
portfolios. - Develop a strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal
procedures to effectively support compliance and operational tasks. - Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members via email, meetings, and outbound phone calls regarding financial documentation, reports, and follow-ups.
- Make outbound calls to clients to request purchase orders, confirm details for upcoming or completed
inspections, and follow up on outstanding documentation. - Upload received purchase orders into internal systems (e.g., BOSS).
- Review and update financial records, reports, and relevant documentation in company systems or
platforms. - Process financial correspondence and certifications in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify discrepancies or issues in reports and documentation, and escalate concerns to relevant stakeholders to avoid delays or non-compliance.
- Generate and share financial reports or summaries for clients, vendors, and internal teams as needed.
Assist the finance team with data entry and other administrative duties in managing workload and meeting deadlines. - Participate in internal and external meetings with clients, partners, and colleagues when required.
What we're looking for:
- Fresh graduates who are enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using Xero or other accounting/financial software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable engaging and communicating with people.
