Industrial Engineer Final Assembly (f/m/d) 

 

Your Role & Responsibilities 

 

As an Industrial Engineer Final Assembly, you will drive the industrialization of new products and develop advanced manufacturing and automation solutions for our international production sites. By combining technical innovation with efficient and scalable production processes, you will make a significant contribution to quality, productivity, and the future readiness of our manufacturing operations.

 

Work model: On-site, with up to 10 home office days per month.

 

  • Lead sub-projects for the industrialization of new products and support the transfer to serial production at international manufacturing sites.
  • Plan, design, and implement efficient production, assembly, and material flow processes, including cycle time analysis, capacity planning, and layout design.
  • Develop, procure, and implement machines, production equipment, and tooling, including the preparation of technical specifications and requirements documents, while continuously advancing global manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
  • Contribute to product development and capital investment projects with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Automation (DfA), and sustainable production concepts, applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies and FMEA to drive continuous improvement of processes and equipment.

What It Takes to Run What Runs the World 

  • Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, or university degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field. 
  • Several years of professional experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. 
  • Experience in project management within industrialization or investment projects. 
  • Knowledge of production processes, manufacturing technologies, and automation solutions. 
  • Experience in planning and optimizing production lines, assembly processes, and material flows. 
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. 
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented personality with a structured working style
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken. 

 

We Offer a Full Range of Benefits to Help You Thrive at Work and Beyond 

The minimum compensation for this full-time position is EUR 54,439.42 gross per year, in accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria.
