As a Security Officer  Access Control  in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, access-related incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
