Our client is an international energy company and their offshore Gulf of Mexico operations encompass the entire value chain of oil and gas exploration and production, with a focus on safety, environmental stewardship, and technological innovation.
They are seeking an HSE Advisor to support their team Offshore GOM
Duration: 1 Year with opportunity for extension

JOB SUMMARY: Provide support, coaching and advice to all rig personnel on the implementation of the Client HSE management system, verifies compliance with HSE management system, actively and visibly supports the Shared Values and Strategic Initiatives.

DUTIES:
- Actively promote, participate, monitor and coach personnel on the HSE Policies and Requirements.
- Maintain SME knowledge of the Company HSE and EMS Polices, Requirements and Processes.
- Ensure regular, open, active, timely and relevant communication with HSE line management.
- Provide updates to the OIM and HSE focal point on results of their verification activities.
- Monitor and verify that the HSE communication boards are maintained with current information.
- Support and monitor compliance of the installation Orientation process.
- Continually review the company management system to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate HSE On the Job Training (OJT).
- Support development of Short Service Employees (SSE) in the HSE management system requirements.
- Participate and support drills and exercises.
- Support the installation in executing all HSE requirements.
- Verify HSE management system changes are communicated effectively and understood.
- Support supervisors at appropriate HSE and Operational meetings.
- Participate in incident investigations when required.
- Monitor installation specific training matrix for compliance and advise when necessary.
- Support and monitoring of country specific HSE regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with HSE management system and customer bridging documents as required.
- Work closely with, and take strategic direction from, the Onshore Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality teams.
- Facilitate the OIM and Heads of Department with effective delivery of the platform inductions and Safety Stand Down material.
- Facilitate offshore input to the process safety dashboard and KPI's.
- Facilitation and supervision of offshore aspects the company's internal audit program
- Facilitation of offshore aspects of external audits and regulatory (HSE/OPRED/OSDR) inspections.
- Manage the offshore company's Compliance monitoring program.
- Manage Offshore aspects of TAMS, promoting zero overdue/not issued actions.
- Lead role in delivery of offshore Audit execution, compliance monitoring and KPI attainment.
- Promotion of a culture where all operations and maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and effective manner and in line with the Asset performance standards and the company's Safety Rules
- Reviews all asset ORA's ensuring effective risk mitigations are in place and monitor progress of the return to performance standard production, environmental, asset, and reputational risks.
- Leads in workforce engagement including the E-Reps, Intelligent Safety coaches, Process Safety Forums and Safety representatives
- Liaise with the onshore support to ensure alignment of safety related activities and campaigns and accurate input to the process safety dashboard.
- Ensure all radiation work is in accordance with the company's procedure
- Lead offshore aspects of HSE, regulatory inspections.
- Manages the offshore public display of Legislative required documentation including permits and registrations ensuring they are in date and the correct revision
- Review work control documents and permits for accuracy and conformity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
- Must pass a medical evaluation of fitness to work per Client’s standards
- Minimum five (5) years experience in oil & gas industry and deepwater GOM operations
Training & Certifications Required: Must have valid SafeGulf/RigPass, BOSIET/HUET, H2S, Medical (USCG or OGUK), TWIC

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will routinely engage in activities such as sitting, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. They will be tasked with lifting heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and navigating uneven surfaces for extended periods.
Additionally, the employee should demonstrate manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for using tools, operating machinery, and executing intricate tasks. Furthermore, employee must be able to use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel, or operate standard office equipment. Effective communication, both orally and telephonically, is essential. Successful candidates must exhibit specific vision abilities of close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
