What You’ll Do
- Analyze expenses, cost transactions, and financial data to ensure accurate reporting and proper allocation of costs across projects and departments.
- Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports, including project cost evaluations, expense forecasts, variance analysis, and cost-saving recommendations.
- Support monthly manufacturing cost reviews by analyzing material usage variances (MUV), purchase price variances (PPV), labor costs, yield variances, and other operational performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Accounting teams to investigate significant variances and recommend updates to bills of material and production routings.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of financial planning, forecasting, business intelligence, and reporting tools, including Adaptive FP&A systems.
- Support ad hoc reporting, special projects, and the preparation of financial reporting packages for leadership and key stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Cost Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, adaptability, and ability to manage sensitive information in a fast-paced environment.
