Location: Pocatello, Idaho
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)

Rockwell Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Assistant House Manager to help supervise daily operations in one of our residential homes serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

This position combines hands-on caregiving with leadership responsibilities and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing your career in healthcare and human services.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct support and care to residents

• Assist the House Manager with daily operations

• Help ensure quality care and compliance standards are maintained

• Support and mentor direct care staff

• Assist with scheduling and shift coverage when needed

• Complete documentation and resident records

• Promote a positive, safe, and supportive home environment

• Help residents achieve personal goals and maintain independence

Direct Care Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)

• Medication assistance and reminders

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping

• Transportation and community outings

• Companionship and emotional support

• Recreational activities and life skills development

• Supporting residents with daily routines and goals

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Med Tech Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• 6+ months of caregiving, DSP, healthcare, or disability services experience preferred

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

• Valid Idaho Driver's License with a clean driving record

• Ability to pass background checks required by state regulations
