EDC Clinical Trial Designer

As a Clinical System Designer II at ICON, you will design and optimizing clinical systems that support the efficient management of clinical trials. You will contribute to the advancement of innovative therapies by ensuring that our systems meet the needs of users and comply with industry standards.

What You Will Do:

You will take responsibility for creative design and content deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing clinical systems and applications to enhance data collection and management processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into system specifications.
  • Conducting system testing and validation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and user needs.
  • Providing training and support to users, addressing any issues that arise during system usage.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of clinical systems, incorporating user feedback and industry best practices.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant creative design and content experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience in system design and implementation, preferably within a clinical research environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in system functionality and usability.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)
