Job Description

As a Unarmed Security Officer Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to situations with professionalism, document observations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
