About the role

At BOQ Group, we're reimagining banking for our customers, our communities, and our people. That's why we're looking for an experienced People Services Analyst to join our People Shared Services team and help deliver an exceptional employee experience across every stage of the employee journey.

This is more than a traditional HR operations role. You'll be at the heart of supporting our people and leaders, providing timely, accurate, and customer-focused guidance across a broad range of HR and employee relations queries. Whether you're helping someone navigate a Workday transaction, providing policy guidance, supporting employee relations case management, or identifying opportunities to improve the way we work, you'll play an important part in making work easier and better for our people.

No two days will look the same. You'll partner with stakeholders across the business, manage and resolve HR enquiries, analyse trends and insights, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support projects focused on optimisation, automation, and transformation. You'll also have the opportunity to explore how emerging technologies, including AI and Copilot, can help create smarter and more efficient ways of working.

What makes this role particularly exciting is the chance to make a visible impact. At BOQ Group, we're small enough for your ideas to be heard, yet large enough for your work to influence people right across the organisation. You'll be joining a team that genuinely cares about delivering great outcomes and is always looking for better ways to support our people.

About you

You're someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and finding practical solutions. You bring experience from HR operations, people services, shared services, employee relations, or a similar HR environment, and you're confident managing sensitive matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgement.

You have a strong understanding of HR policies, processes, and employment legislation, and you're comfortable applying that knowledge to provide clear and practical guidance to employees and leaders. You're naturally curious and analytical, with the ability to identify trends, uncover opportunities for improvement, and contribute ideas that strengthen service delivery and employee experience.

Technology doesn't intimidate you. You're confident using Workday and Microsoft Office, and you're excited by the potential of automation, digital tools, and AI to improve the way work gets done. You enjoy learning new things and are always looking for ways to make processes more efficient and effective.

Most importantly, you're a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You build strong relationships, communicate with confidence and empathy, and can adapt your approach to support a diverse range of stakeholders across the business.

If you're looking for a role where you can combine your HR expertise, passion for customer service, and drive for continuous improvement while making a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.
