As a Transportation Security Officer: Unarmed Airport Patrol Digital Records in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. - 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and government personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at airport facilities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas; document and report unusual conditions or activity.
- Monitor access points and support authorized entry procedures in accordance with site policies and applicable government regulations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
