Description
Take the next step in your Transurban journey.
Here's an opportunity to grow your skills and shape your path at Transurban. We're building a culture where you can apply your strengths, embrace change, and develop the skills you need for tomorrow in a business increasingly shaped by technology, data, and innovation.
About the Opportunity
As a Manager NSW Projects, you'll play a key role in driving strategic projects and initiatives that enhance the performance, sustainability, and customer experience of Transurban's NSW assets.
You'll join a collaborative team that partners across the business and with key external stakeholders to tackle complex challenges, unlock opportunities, and deliver meaningful outcomes. Success in this role will come from your ability to build strong relationships, think critically, and bring people together to deliver on shared objectives.
As our Manager NSW Projects, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It is complex, meaningful, and exciting work so that our customers experience faster, safer, and more reliable journeys.
How you'll make an impact (your day-to-day):
- Partner in the delivery of strategic and operational projects that improve asset performance, customer outcomes, and business value across Transurban's NSW portfolio.
- Bring people together across functions and organisations to turn complex opportunities into practical, delivered outcomes through collaborative delivery and strong stakeholder engagement.
- Build trusted relationships with government agencies, joint venture partners, and internal stakeholders to support shared objectives and long-term success.
- Apply sound commercial acumen, governance, risk management, and strategic thinking to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.
- Develop compelling recommendations, business cases, and executive briefings that help shape strategic priorities and investment decisions.
- Use critical thinking, problem solving, and insights drawn from data to identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and greater alignment across our NSW assets and operations.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and a drive to adapt. We value the transferable skills and experience you could bring, including:
- Adaptability: Embracing change, learning quickly, and confidently navigating evolving priorities in a complex operating environment.
- Relationship building: Developing trusted partnerships, influencing decisions, and working effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Critical thinking and problem solving: Analysing information, navigating ambiguity, and finding practical solutions to complex business challenges.
- Commercial acumen and customer-focused thinking: Understanding business drivers, balancing competing interests, and identifying opportunities that create value while enhancing customer outcomes.
- AI & Data Literacy: Using data, digital tools, and emerging technologies to support informed decisions, improve performance, and uncover meaningful insights.
Taking ownership of your career and development means exploring opportunities that stretch you. We aren't looking for a perfect checklist; we are looking for a strong foundation. If your experience aligns with some of the above and you bring a readiness to adapt, we want to hear from you.
