What you'll do...
Role summaryThe Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management, supports the end-to-end operational flow of international shipments from origin through U.S. ports and onward to Walmart fulfillment centers. The role is responsible for monitoring shipment milestones, identifying and resolving operational exceptions, analyzing transportation data, and coordinating with internal and external partners to support safe, efficient, and timely container movement.
This position works closely with origin teams in China, Vietnam, and India, as well as ocean carriers, drayage providers, warehouses, fulfillment centers, customs and compliance teams, and other internal stakeholders. The analyst will also support process improvements designed to reduce delays, improve shipment visibility, and strengthen operational execution.
About the team
Our Global Logistics team manages the international transportation and destination operations supporting Walmart’s Marketplace import program. We coordinate the movement of seller-owned cargo from origins in China, Vietnam, and India through U.S. ports and onward to Walmart fulfillment centers.
The team works across multiple internal and external partners to maintain shipment visibility, resolve operational exceptions, minimize delays and unnecessary costs, and support the timely availability of inventory within Walmart’s fulfillment network.
What you’ll do
- Monitor daily international shipment and container milestones from origin through final delivery.
- Identify, escalate, and coordinate resolution of operational exceptions that could delay container movement.
- Work closely with origin teams, ocean carriers, drayage providers, warehouses, fulfillment centers, customs and compliance teams, and other internal partners.
- Maintain accurate shipment visibility and communicate material risks, delays, and required actions to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Analyze operational data and dashboards to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities to improve execution.
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and sustainable process improvements.
- Provide effective handoffs and coordination between the second-shift and daytime operational teams.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in international transportation, freight forwarding, container logistics, or related supply chain operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational exceptions and coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with the effective use of AI tools.
- Experience using dashboards and data-analysis tools to monitor operational performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Chinese or Vietnamese language skills would be helpful but are not required.
- For internal candidates, familiarity with Code Puppy, Stride, BigQuery, or similar Walmart tools would be beneficial
This is an onsite position based in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
