Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Regional Stewardship Coordinator!

As a Regional Stewardship Coordinator at MercyOne you provide administrative, operational, donor relations, and gift processing support for regional foundation activities. The position serves as a key point of contact for donors, board members, volunteers, and community stakeholders while ensuring accurate gift administration, donor stewardship, financial processing, and office operations.

This role supports fundraising efforts through donor communications, event coordination, CRM data management, gift processing, board support, and day-to-day operational activities that contribute to the overall success of the Foundation's philanthropic mission.

What You'll Do:

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for donor inquiries, visitors, and incoming communications, ensuring timely and professional customer service.

  • Prepares acknowledgment letters, stewardship materials, donor correspondence, and other donor engagement communications.

  • Tracks and monitors donor pledges, payment schedules, and outstanding commitments.

  • Supports development officers with donor documentation, contact reports, meeting preparation, and stewardship follow-up activities.

  • Assists with fundraising events, donor recognition activities, and regional philanthropy initiatives.

  • Processes charitable gifts accurately and timely within the Foundation's constituent relationship management (CRM) system.

  • Prepares and reconciles gift batches, deposits, and supporting financial documentation.

  • Maintains accurate donor records, gift documentation, fund coding, and supporting records in accordance with organizational standards.

  • Provides administrative support to Foundation leadership, including scheduling, calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.

  • Coordinates Foundation Board and committee meetings, including agenda development, scheduling, and meeting logistics. Records, prepares, and distributes accurate meeting minutes and governance documentation.

  • Serves as receptionist for the regional Foundation office, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls.

  • Supports general office operations and special projects as assigned.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other Trinity Health/MercyOne policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

General Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting).

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate financial and data concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Demonstrated commitment to process improvement, data quality, and operational efficiency.

  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative environment.

  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health and MercyOne.

Education:

  • Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of business operations, as normally obtained through a associates' degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Education, or related field and two (2) to four (4) years of experience.
