What you will do:
This position plans and conducts activities concerned with the new product, change management, and/or special projects quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties:
How you will do it:
- Oversee the delivery of multiple projects of various types, managing all phases from ideation to completion using project management methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.
- Define, document, and implement project delivery methodologies, specifically focusing on Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process, (PPAP), and change management best practices to enhance project execution within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification framework.
- Lead the completion of specific projects at various manufacturing locations to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and EPPM (External parts per million) claims through structured root cause problem-solving activities such as 8D and Six Sigma.
- Utilize JIRA to track, record, and manage project progress, quality resources, quality tasks, and milestones, ensuring transparency and effective communication across all project stakeholders.
- Lead and inspire project quality team members, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring efficient task management and execution.
- Conduct continuous risk assessments during projects, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to handle potential issues.
- Facilitate post-project evaluations and feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement of project quality tasks and expectations

What we look for
Required:
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering) or a similar technical discipline.
- Minimum 7-10+ years of related Quality experience in an ISO/TS certified manufacturing environment with at least 5+ years of prior project leadership experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and prior experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) techniques including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Demonstrated strengths of resiliency, process-driven, and process-oriented as well as successfully implementing Quality standards and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse, distributed, and dynamic teams effectively across multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Masters Degree (Engineering, Business, or Quality)
- Six Sigma Certification Green/Black Belt (SSBB/SSGB)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Travel Expectation:
- 25% as needed for facility locations in North America and Europe
SALARY RANGE: $125,000 - $160,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
