JOB DESCRIPTION

Neurology specialist in Clinical Research in the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmuno-Oncology Unit at Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will collaborate in Phase II–III clinical trials in the field of MS, as well as in other research studies derived from the team’s own research lines, through the following functions:

  • Conducting specialized clinical assessments of study patients.
  • Coordinating the extraction and collection of biological samples.
  • Data management (completion of databases), as well as analysis of generated results.
  • Participation in the presentation of results at national and international conferences.
  • Collaboration in the writing of scientific articles.
In addition, the candidate will be offered the opportunity to develop an original research project, aimed at forming the basis of their doctoral thesis.

Besides strictly research-related duties, the candidate will be required to actively participate in clinical case discussion sessions and accredited training sessions of the Unit.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE

  • Medical degree and specialization in Neurology (MIR).
  • Language skills: Catalan, Spanish, and English at an appropriate level.
  • Specific knowledge in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunological disorders.
  • Personal skills: positive and communicative attitude, with strong adaptability and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in the clinical management of patients with MS or other neuroimmunological  diseases, as well as participation in clinical trials and observational studies.
  • Updated Good Clinical Practice certificate (GCP E6-R3) and Neurostatus-EDSS certification.
  • Additional (not required but valued) training or knowledge for better performance: knowledge of statistics and database management.


WHAT WE OFFER

  • Type of contract and working hours: full-time researcher contract (1628 h/year) for one year with the possibility of continuation.
  • Start date: October 5, 2026
  • Gross salary will be 30,000 euros per year.
  • Annual gross salaries for the position in this call will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and skills, distributed in 12 payments.
  • 23 days of vacation and 5 personal days + 2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas (pro-rated according to contract).
