Summary of Job Duties:

The Instructor - 12 Month will teach electrical engineering courses on both the Fort Smith and Fayetteville campuses, coordinate laboratory operations in Fort Smith, and provide academic advising to students at both locations. The position also includes serving as the on-site coordinator for the Fort Smith Electrical Engineering program and performing other related duties as assigned.

As a 12-month appointment, the position requires teaching summer courses as needed and participating in engineering summer camps, outreach programs, and related activities.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution of higher education, conferred by the start of employment
• At least one year of related experience in electrical engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in electrical engineering from an accredited institution of higher education, conferred by the start of employment
