Multi-State ABA Operations Director

Overview

An established and growing ABA organization is seeking an experienced executive to lead its multi-state expansion.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who has successfully launched and scaled ABA operations across multiple states. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the operational infrastructure needed to support growth, ensuring compliance, establishing billing processes, navigating insurance requirements, and partnering closely with executive leadership.

This is an executive-level operations position focused on growth, not clinical oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational expansion of the organization into new states
• Build scalable operational infrastructure from the ground up
• Develop and implement multi-state operational strategies
• Oversee payer enrollment and insurance credentialing processes
• Establish billing workflows and revenue cycle operations
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and insurance requirements
• Lead audit preparation and ongoing compliance initiatives
• Develop operational policies, procedures, and best practices
• Partner with executive leadership on growth strategy
• Build systems capable of supporting rapid expansion
• Identify operational risks and implement scalable solutions

Qualifications

• Executive-level leadership experience within an ABA organization
• Proven experience launching ABA services across multiple states
• Strong knowledge of ABA billing, insurance, compliance, and audits
• Experience building operations from the ground up
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style
• Strong communication and executive presence
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a builder mentality
• Ability to partner closely with ownership and executive leadership
