This is an excellent opportunity for Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Providers with clinical and personal skills to join a dynamic Gastroenterology department.
Minimal QualificationsEducation
- Master's degree Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Maryland State and/or DC Board Examiners of Nurses. (Physician Assistant equivalent) required
Experience
- 1-2 years 2 year experience as a nurse practitioner. May require additional experience in specialty assigned. (Physician Assistant equivalent) required
Licenses and Certifications
- NP - Nurse Practitioner (Physician Assistant equivalent) - Licensed in the District of Columbia Maryland or Virginia or any combination as required based on work location(s). May require specialty license based on location. required and
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills. Must have good problem-solving and independent judgment skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
