Job Description
- Conduct end-to-end Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews, from client outreaches to preparation of KYC profiles in compliance with the Bank’s AML/CFT policies, procedures adnd applicable regulatory requirements
- Act as a key liaison point for stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Compliance, Business Units and client, to provide guidance & clarification on CDD requirements.
- Ensure all required approvals are ontained in accordance with the AML/CFT policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of CDD review and within prescribed SLA
- Perform thorough reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness of the KYC profiles.
- Rectify deficiencies or gaps identified through internal reviews, self-assessments, Compliance testing, Risk reviews, Internal / External audits or Regulatory examinations.
- Escalate suspicious activities or other key AML/CFT risks to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Support process improvement initiatives aimed to enhance productivity, control effectiveness and efficiency to the end-to-end CDD process.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Opeations and other internal stakeholders to review and update procedure manual as needed.
- Other duties to be assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related banking discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Customer Due Diligence or client on-boarding process covering wholesale banking clients
- Strong knowledge of KYC/CDD requirements for client onboarding and on-going CDD review
- A strong team player who is self-motivated, disciplined and open-minded; engaging and with eagerness to drive new initiatives and defend what is believed to be right
- Excellent written and verbal communications in English and Chinese
- Strong customer and service-oriented mindset, with commitment on high-quality of service
- Holder of AML related qualification (such as AAMLP / CAMPL / CAMS) will be an advantage
