Parts and Maintenance Assistant supports the maintenance and operations department by maintaining an organized inventory of parts, handling routine facility or equipment upkeep, and assisting mechanics with daily repair projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using basic tools, and able to manage parts receiving and record-keeping. Entry level position with room for growth.

We participate in E Verify. Post Offer Basic Physical, Drug Test, and Background. PPE required.

Parts & Inventory Management

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of replacement parts, tools, and maintenance supplies; conduct regular physical inventory counts.
• Receiving: Receive required parts and materials under the direction of the supervisor and verify packing slips against purchase orders. Also, being a runner to retrieve parts in maintenance vehicle. (Clean driving record required)
• Record Keeping: Work with supervisor to update maintenance software or logs with parts usage, open work orders, and completed task histories.
• Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance & Repair Support

• Routine Repairs: Perform basic facility or equipment fixes
• Technician Assistance: Help mechanics and lead technicians lift heavy parts, hold materials, dismantle machinery, or transport tools to and from shop to work location.
• Preventative Maintenance: Clean and inspect tools, machinery, and workspace areas on a regular schedule to prevent equipment failure.
• Cleanup: Ensure safe disposal of hazardous waste, old parts, used filters, and general shop debris.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocational coursework is a plus.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in a maintenance, warehouse, or mechanical shop environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical or building systems and the ability to read simple technical manuals.
• Tools & Software: Familiarity with standard hand and power tools; basic computer skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds, stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and climb ladders. Capable of working in outside temperatures.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to report maintenance issues and coordinate with team members.
