POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Scheduler develops, maintains, and reports on project schedules for the LinkUS Program using Oracle Primavera P6. This role supports effective planning and tracking of project timelines, resources, costs, milestones, and risks across the full project lifecycle. The position prepares schedule-related contract information, incorporates contractor and subcontractor schedules into the Integrated Master Program Schedule (IMPS), and provides regular status reporting, issue identification, and mitigation support. The Project Scheduler collaborates with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to identify schedule needs, monitor progress, and recommend actions to address potential delays.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Schedule Development and Analysis
- Develops and maintains program schedules that identify major deliverables, milestones, work breakdown structure activities, and key dependencies.
- Analyzes baseline and updated schedules for alignment with contract requirements, including scope, cost, quality, safety, procurement, permitting, and performance periods.
- Applies Earned Value Management (EVM), schedule variance, cost variance, and performance index techniques to assess project health and identify potential delays or cost impacts.
- Prepares monthly reports on resource allocation, milestone status, schedule performance, and contractor progress.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitors project progress against approved baselines and reports deviations, delays, changes, and critical path impacts.
- Produces periodic performance reports, including EVM, critical path analysis, milestone tracking, forecasts, and schedule trends.
- Maintains risk logs and supporting documentation related to schedule impacts and mitigation actions.
Risk Management and Mitigation
- Identifies schedule risks, variances, and potential conflicts; evaluates impacts and recommends mitigation strategies.
- Builds and maintains baseline schedules consistent with FTA, FHWA, PMI, contract, and project requirements.
- Conducts schedule, critical path, variance, and forensic analyses to identify problem areas and support decision-making.
- Supports quality requirements by documenting schedule-related quality management information.
- Develops, reviews, and supports recovery plans, schedule improvement options, and compression strategies when needed.
Collaboration and Communication
- Serves as a liaison among project teams, stakeholders, and management to communicate schedule status, risks, changes, and mitigation needs.
- Facilitates schedule review meetings and progress discussions as needed.
- Supports presentations and reports for senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
Documentation and Compliance
- Documents schedule changes, approvals, revisions, and supporting information in accordance with company, contract, and project requirements.
- Ensures schedules meet contractual reporting and deliverable requirements.
