This position is part of the Disney Content Team within the Entertainment Brand Solutions group; part of Disney Advertising Sales, an integrated cross-platform national advertising sales and marketing organization that includes Disney Channels, ABC, ABC Owned Television Stations, Freeform, FX, Nat Geo, ESPN, Hulu, and Disney Digital.
The group’s responsibility is to provide the tools, resources, and marketing solutions needed to drive advertising revenue for our media portfolio - Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior and Disney+ across linear, digital, social and experimental platforms. This includes Disney Digital and the monetization of the 400+ Social and Digital handles across classic Disney IP, Pixar and Star Wars including Disney+. This also includes partnering with the corporate team on creating sponsorship opportunities company initiatives such as D23.
The Coordinator, Entertainment Brand Solutions, provides overall support for the Disney Content Team.
Responsibilities
Support the Disney Content team on day-to-day operation of advertiser driven marketing, digital/social, and promotional programs related to Disney Channels, Disney Digital, and Disney+
Assist team in the development and execution of client specific marketing opportunities focused on Corporate Initiatives such as D23 and the Disney 100 celebration
Assist team in the development of client specific marketing opportunities
Help with the management and execution of sold-in campaigns (linear, digital, social)
Maintain project documents and files containing all marketing promotional elements to be executed, including comprehensive timelines and production schedules
Oversee the Disney Channels and Disney Digital Cantina page, Box Folders and Fast Pass entries
Manage Fort-D entries and approvals
Liaise with multiple departments for any sales materials requests, programming inquiries, scheduling issues, marketing questions, etc.
Develop compelling pitch materials in Keynote and PowerPoint
Create and maintain marketing budgets for pitched and sold-in campaign elements, create contract requests and process invoices, etc.
Update and manage various department budget reports, tracking documents, calendars and client spots (e.g. added-value and stunt calendars)
Participate in brainstorms as needed
Attend client meetings and take minutes/indicate follow-ups for meeting recaps
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of marketing, sponsorship, promotion, branded entertainment and/or media at a network, cable, promotional/media agency or entertainment studio
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative team player
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize project workflow in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Strong creative writing skills with a demonstrated ability to put ideas on paper
Experience with selling social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
Familiarity with events and/or grassroots marketing experience
Self-motivated and pro-active with a positive can-do attitude demonstrating initiative, persistence, and flexibility
Skilled with Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs
Experience with deck creation through PowerPoint and Keynote
Passion for Disney content
