Fun, Engaging Family Assistant for Busy Household in Belmont

Description

A busy family in Belmont is looking for a fun, engaging family assistant to help manage the household including two cats and four girls ages 8-12. Responsibilities include driving the children to/from school and activities/sports, homework help, simple meal prep and cooking for the family, family laundry, running errands, and light tidying. The best person for them feels like part of the family, connects with the girls, enjoys food and cooking (the kids love to bake and cook!), and has a positive personality.

The family can guarantee 30 hours per week (Mon-Fri 12-6p) or up to 40 hours per week if this person can also help in the mornings too (6:30-8:30am). Flexibility to help with occasional evenings is preferred in case both parents are working late.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Spanish nice to have but not required

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated
• TB and Tdap
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle (family will remiburse for mileage and provide booster seat for their youngest)
• Flexibility work occasional evening hours if both parents working late
• Comfortable helping with homework
• Connects with the girls and feels like part of the family
• Is fun and engaging
• Likes food and enjoys cooking (the kids love to bake and cook)
• Comfortable with cats
• Can make a long-term commitment, ideally a few years
