The Material Handler II is responsible for ensuring that materials, components, and supplies are delivered from the warehouse to the production floor accurately and on time. This role plays a critical part in maintaining continuous production by ensuring each operation has the materials needed to meet production schedules and customer requirements.

Shift Details:

• This is for 1st shift.
• Monday through Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for timely and accurate transport raw materials, components, packaging, and other supplies from the warehouse to designated production areas.

• Transfer incoming stock from other warehouse/stock locations or receiving into warehouse bin locations.

• Monitor material requirements and respond to requests from production personnel.

• Verify material quantities, part numbers, and labels before delivering materials to the production floor.

• Maintain accurate inventory movement and material transactions using company systems or documentation.

• Return unused or excess materials from production to the appropriate warehouse locations.

• Perform inventory counts and investigate material discrepancies as assigned.

• Keep material staging areas, aisles, and work areas organized and free of obstructions.

• Safely operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, or other equipment as authorized.

• Follow all company safety procedures, quality requirements, and material-handling practices.

• Communicate material shortages, delays, damaged materials, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor or production personnel.

• Prioritize material deliveries based on production schedules and operational needs.

• Support continuous improvement efforts related to material flow, inventory accuracy, and production efficiency.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify materials and part numbers.

• Ability to prioritize multiple material requests and meet production deadlines.

• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials as required by the position.

• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse management systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and move materials as required.

• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical activity.
