About the role

We are currently looking for a Senior Track Maintenance Expert who will Provide specialist support in the planning, design, and documentation of track maintenance workshops for proposed project components identified during the study. The position is responsible for preparing workshop/depot/shed design outputs, detailed drawings, technical specifications, BOQ items, quantity estimates, and rate analysis related to manufacturing and maintenance facilities in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards, and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, BOQ items and quantities, and rate analysis related to workshop/depot/shed manufacturing and maintenance

• Review study findings, operational requirements, maintenance needs, site conditions, and project components to determine suitable track maintenance workshop design requirements.

• Prepare conceptual and detailed designs for track maintenance workshops, including workshop layout, functional areas, equipment zones, circulation, utilities, and maintenance workflow.

• Coordinate with relevant technical disciplines to ensure workshop designs are aligned with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, safety, and operational requirements.

About You:

• Graduation in Railway/Civil Engineering/ equivalent relevant subject.

• 15 years total professional experience, preferably 08 years’ experience in railway field.
• 08 years’ experience in similar type feasibility study and design consultancy, including preferably 5 years’ experience in similar post for similar type consultancy.
• Working experience in IDA funded project would be preferable.
