Description
The City of Roseville operates a seasonal Leaf Recycling Center located at 2580 Dale Street, Roseville, MN 55113. The site is open for the 2026 season from October 23 through November 25 and provides residents with a convenient location to recycle leaves.
The Seasonal Leaf Site Attendant is responsible for the daily operation of the Leaf Recycling Center, ensuring the site is safe, organized, and operates in accordance with established guidelines. This position serves as the primary point of contact for residents by providing courteous customer service, verifying resident eligibility, educating visitors on site requirements, and assisting with the proper use of the facility.
NOTE: This posting will fill up to 4 positions to cover Leaf Recycling Center hours. This position requires individuals to work varied hours during the week including daytime and weekend hours. The individual's schedule will be based on business needs.

- Verify residency to ensure use by eligible Roseville residents.
- Monitor materials brought to the site, prohibit the disposal of unacceptable waste, and educate residents on appropriate disposal or recycling alternatives when needed.
- Direct residents to the designated leaf disposal area and assist with traffic flow to promote safe and efficient site operations.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service by communicating guidelines, answering questions, and assisting residents with the proper use of the facility.
Exposure to disagreeable elements, at least one of which is intense, occurs up to 15% of the time. The employee regularly works near moving vehicles and in outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, humid, hot, or cold conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud at the leaf recycling center.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
