AspenTech, an Emerson business, seeks talented software developers to join its newly established Center of Excellence. This team will support the development of Continua™, AspenTech’s advanced software suite for the operation and management of natural gas pipeline systems.
Continua is built on the proven monarch™ platform, which provides a comprehensive and reliable foundation for acquiring, displaying, and maintaining situational awareness of SCADA data. Team members collaborate closely to design, develop, and deliver advanced features under demanding schedules, supporting a growing customer base and strategically important projects. Your work will directly contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the world’s energy infrastructure.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience working with at least two of the following technologies: C, Java, Angular
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, MongoDB, JavaScript, DevExtreme, and Linux is a plus
- Experience using version control systems (such as Git) with standardized branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Strong orientation toward teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration
- Ability to work independently, accept feedback, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities
- Understanding of the utility industry, natural gas pipeline operations, and gas bhavior is preferred
- Demonstrated passion for learning and solving complex problems
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required
- This is a fully onsite role with a 4 days onsite, 1 day remote work schedule.
