As the Representative, Customer Operations, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Factoring sales team, helping the Account Executives manage their day-to-day activities and deliver an exceptional customer experience. .
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Work hand in hand with members of the Factoring sales team to assist in the selling and servicing of our factoring and financial services.
- Assist with application processing by gathering required documentation and tracking down outstanding items.
- Support customer retention efforts by proactively contacting existing customers regarding contract renewals, account maintenance and general service needs.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective factoring customers by documenting contract end dates, financing needs and potential opportunities to transition business to RXO Extra.
- Develop knowledge and sell complementary products such as fuel cards, maintenance and tire discounts and RXO Extra marketplace items.
- Maintain accurate records, customer notes and sales activities to support efficient account management and an exceptional customer experience.
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated work style with the capacity to work well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environment
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
It’d be great if you also have:
- 1 year of sales or customer service experience
- 1 year of related experience and/or training, and a general understanding of the transportation industry
- Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with experience identifying and resolving problems
