Position: Voter Contact Organizer (Canvasser) - Michigan
Job Location: Macomb/Oakland/Thumb
Position Type: Temporary Full Time, Non-Exempt
Position Classification: Union Eligible
Compensation: $23.34 per hour
Position Travel Percentage: 75%
Reports to: Regional Organizing Director

POSITION CLASSIFICATION
For Our Future Action Fund recognizes a staff bargaining unit, affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) 494, a labor union. This position is part of the union-represented collective bargaining unit, and specific employment terms and conditions are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
Job Summary
For Our Future Action Fund seeks motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Voter Contact organizers to support our voter outreach efforts in Macomb/Oakland/Thumb, Michigan. You will perform day-to-day canvassing in your assigned turf and work to engage area residents about the upcoming Michigan elections. Candidates should have familiarity with Macomb/Oakland/Thumb, experience working in political campaigns or organizing environments, comfortable working long hours, and access to reliable transportation.
This is an in-person opportunity and will require a physical presence in the local community and/or office.
This position is anticipated to run through at least November 4, 2026.
