Description
Overview
This role is responsible for supporting EHS governance, working in partnership with UK sites and systems teams to support local teams to manage the operationalisation and maintenance of the EHS program. The role will interact with local site teams to deliver on the day to day needs of the business whilst also supporting longer term initiatives and capability build. Experience of Regulatory governance (EHS) and technical interpretation will be important to success in this role.
Responsibilities
EHS Policies
- Support in preparing documentation and communication at site level
EHS Risk Management
- Develop and share best practices for risk controls across the sector/BU
- Develop incidents analysis report to review and define follow up actions with the Sector EHS LT
- Develop risk control action plans on MyEHS and deploy for intended sites
- Develop Risk control procedures for adhoc/ unexpected situations and risks
- Facilitate execution of control measures, programs, initiatives, technical bulletins
- Follow up on monthly bases regarding all Recordable Events and HiPo action plans status via myEHS
- Share learned lessons with other sites across the sector
- Validate 3rd party RA and proposed control measures to confirm compliance with Pep standards
EHS Promotion
- Support the Development / preparation and execution of BU/Site level campaigns liasing with capability and systems teams in GBS
My EHS
- Collect data via myEHS and prepare report for internal audit
- Support Site Mngt Review GEHSMS (materials, admin, enable leads)
- Supporting dutyholders and duty holder activities (materials, admin, enable leads, diary/meetings mgmt)
Org Dev
- Support Management of EHS culture survey (materials prep, facilitate as required)
- Support Admin of Site Action planning and monitoring
Business Partnership
- Support teams with writing SWP/SOPs, training materials; organizing FLE days; Supporting Emergency Response teams / supporting, training on ways of working.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Science / Engineering Degree (Bachelors)
- Demonstrated experience in technical interpretation and writing, within an FMCG environment focusing on Regulatory (EHS) arena (0-1year)
- Demonstrated ability to interact with business (risk) management systems or similar database systems beneficial – Enablon from Wolters Kluwer being the pep Company standard (recommended)
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Similar editing software tools
- Working experience in a EHS support environment with a clear understanding of terminology, materials used.
- Suitable EHS training / accreditation or proof of operational EHS experience (preferred) with willingness to progress learning.
