Electrical Assembler - Load Center line

## What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling and wiring standard and engineered control assemblies, as well as performing full functional and some electrical testing on products within the Modification Shop.

• Interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other verbal or written instructions to perform electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Determine proper wiring sequence, layout, and component location based on product documentation.
• Assemble and wire standard and engineered control assemblies in accordance with required specifications.
• Perform functional and some electrical testing to verify workmanship and product performance.
• Complete work in accordance with CSA, UL, and CEC codes, as well as company quality requirements.
• Provide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness, safety, quality, and efficiency of the work area.
• Actively support and participate in department meetings, safety programs, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality management programs.
• Comply with all safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and the safe, competent operation of equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the facility.

## Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or an equivalent level of education from an accredited institution.
• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Must be legally authorised to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position; candidates must reside within 100 km of the work location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environment.
• Experience with machining operations, particularly milling and drilling equipment.
• Computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
