Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security in SCOTTSDALE, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your professional presence will help support a secure, welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional front-desk customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, following site-specific entry procedures, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Answer phones, manage visitor inquiries, and provide directions or assistance in a professional and courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific policies.
• Support security-related procedures at the reception area, including monitoring entry activity and reporting unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
