Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Hospital Porter to join our team at Msuez Uk. The Hospital Porter will be responsible for transporting patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Transport patients to and from various hospital departments, including surgery, radiology, and physical therapy

- Assist with the movement and positioning of patients in and out of beds and wheelchairs

- Deliver and collect medical equipment, supplies, and specimens to and from different areas of the hospital

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of hospital equipment and supplies

- Respond to requests for assistance from hospital staff and patients in a prompt and courteous manner

- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures while handling and transporting patients and equipment

- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

- Assist with the loading and unloading of ambulances and other vehicles

- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or hospital management team

Qualifications and Skills:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a porter or in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects

- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and equipment

- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
