Essencial Responsibilities

• Lead the rotating machines design team in the end-to-end development of high-performance industrial solutions. The focus is on integrating functional excellence, ergonomic design, and manufacturability to deliver products that meet rigorous market demands. Key responsibilities include guiding the team through design cycles—from concept to market-ready product—ensuring that all solutions prioritize safety, cost-effective manufacturing and brand consistency.
• Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• This leader shall be able to make decisions or solve tasks or problems from engineering side and also be able to support the areas as  operational product management, supply chain manufacturing and quality. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support the team. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for the engineers with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree.
• Relevante experience in rotating machines as motors / synchronous condensers and generators.
• Experience as people manager.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English / Desired Spanish.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
