Role: Senior Java Fullstack - (NoSQl and Solr exp)

Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite – 5 Days a week)

Job Description
We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer — SME Level to join our onsite technology team and help deliver enterprise-grade solutions with quality, scalability, and performance at the center. In this role, you will bring deep expertise in Enterprise Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, NoSQL technologies, REST APIs, messaging platforms, and modern front-end development to support high-impact business and client outcomes.

This is an opportunity for a senior technical leader with 15+ years of Enterprise Java 8/17 experience who is energized by complex problem-solving, mentoring engineering teams, driving code quality, and building solutions with a first-time-right mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java 8/17, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable full stack solutions using modern back-end services and front-end technologies, including Angular.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, web services, and messaging-based solutions.
• Work with messaging services such as Kafka and related enterprise event-driven architectures.
• Support search and data capabilities using technologies such as OpenSearch, Solr, and Apache Spark.
• Design and implement solutions using enterprise caching technologies such as Coherence, Apache Ignite, or Redis.
• Apply strong NoSQL database management expertise to support resilient, high-performing applications.
• Work within Linux environments at an intermediate level to support development, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.
• Use basic AWS SDK and Azure SDK capabilities to support cloud-integrated application development.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers to drive high-quality deliverables.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze complex technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
• Promote a strong engineering culture focused on first-time-right delivery and zero-defect production outcomes.
• Support Agile development practices, including collaboration, estimation, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.
• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
• Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Java development using Java 8/17.
• Expert-level knowledge of Core Java, J2EE fundamentals, and enterprise application architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with Linux at an intermediate level.
• Experience with OpenSearch, Solr, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with enterprise caching platforms such as Coherence, Apache Ignite, or Redis.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with messaging services, preferably Kafka.
• Basic experience using AWS SDK and Azure SDK.
• Experience with Angular for front-end application development.
• Very strong NoSQL database management skills.
• Expert analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Ability to perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Strong commitment to high-quality delivery, production stability, and defect prevention.

Good to Have

• Experience with graph databases.
• Experience with Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker.
• Exposure to IoT solutions.
• Experience with ETL tools.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
• Experience with web services or JMS.

The base salary for this position is $92,250 to $106,500 plus, incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
